If your organised Camino de Santiago, whether on foot or by bike, ends in Santiago, we can transfer you to the neighbouring country (Portugal), from where you can explore the main cities and the Sanctuary of Fátima. Alternatively, if you are undertaking the Central Portuguese Camino or the Coastal Portuguese Camino and wish to delve deeper into this wonderful country.
Excursion to the city of Porto, experiencing its customs, people, marine spaces, and wines with a protected designation of origin. From there, we head to the spectacular Sanctuary of Fátima, as well as the cosmopolitan and vibrant Lisbon, known for its explorers past. Lastly, we will finish in the cities of Sintra, Cascais, and Estoril.
If you have fewer days available, we can adapt the itinerary to include fewer sites.
If you’ve completed your Camino de Santiago on foot or by
bike in Santiago, we’ll transfer you by vehicle to the city of Porto.
Throughout the day, a guide will take you to explore the most iconic
spots in Porto. The day will start with a panoramic tour of the city, stopping at the most emblematic locations. Then, you’ll enjoy a cruise on the Douro River, passing under the six bridges that connect Porto and Vila Nova de Gaia. During the cruise, you’ll have the chance to see the urban landscape from a different perspective. After the cruise, there’ll be time for lunch at a local restaurant. In the early afternoon, you’ll visit a wine cellar, where you can taste different types of Port wine.

Meet your driver and guide at your hotel in Lisbon. In the morning,
you’ll visit the Belém area, one of the most iconic parts of Lisbon. In addition to seeing the exterior of the Belém Tower, you’ll also visit the Padrão dos Descobrimentos (exterior), a monument representing some of Portugal’s most renowned explorers. Afterward, you’ll visit the Mosteiro dos Jerónimos and its iconic Manueline architecture (exterior). After lunch, you’ll begin your tour of Lisbon’s historic neighbourhoods, exploring beautiful places like Alfama,
Chiado, and Rossio, where you’ll experience different atmospheres.

On this day, you’ll discover the magical Sintra. After a panoramic view of Sintra, you’ll visit the famous Palácio da Pena, enjoying its stunning architecture, colours, history, and the fantastic landscape due to its location.
After lunch, the visit will shift to Cascais and Estoril, where you can enjoy the historic town, seaside views, and beaches.
