Way from Vilalba to Santiago

Every great journey begins only with dreaming about it.

Discover the Way from Vilalba to Santiago

The Way of Saint James from Vilalba is the starting point in the Terra Chá region. On this route, we will walk along medieval paths and royal tracks populated by masses of oaks, chestnuts, and birches. All of this mixed with examples of folk architecture and small villages and hamlets, as well as extensive areas of forest tracks. We will reach the highest point of the Northern Way from Villaviciosa, which is located at the Marco das Pias pass (710 meters above sea level). On our way through the town of Arzúa, we will join the route of the French Way to Santiago de Compostela.
